What’s after the Thunder? CDMA Javelin or Bold?

July 22nd, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in BlackBerry, Bold/9000 series, Un-Released models

Ok let me start this off with NO we don't have any official news on this. However wouldn't it make sense for RIM to release a CDMA Javelin? Just think the Curve is the latest BlackBerry CDMA smartphone and next up will be the Thunder which some people will love and some will hate. What about the QWERTY keyboard people? They need love too…

This got me wondering this morning will RIM launch a CDMA Bold or Javelin after the Thunder?

(In case you don't know what CDMA is it's the technology that Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, US Cellular, TELUS and Bell all use.)

Will there be another Blackberry world phone for CMDA customers?

There is no way CDMA carriers will get the Javelin if it is truly 2G. US CDMA Blackberry users have had 3G services on our BBs since the 8703e. It would not make any sense to go backwards in terms of technology. Bold it is!!
