How to get Windows Live messenger on your BlackBerry (if you don’t see the icon)
So in case you didn't know RIM has launched Windows Live Messenger for all carriers. Before this only a select amount of networks had access to the service (such as Bell here in Canada). Now that RIM has enabled Windows Live services you will have access to push Hotmail or Live email and Windows Live Messenger (MSN).
For some reason I've been getting a lot of emails asking how to get it. So if you don't have the Windows Live icon on your home screen its usually simple to get. Click on over for details..
All you have to do is log into your BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) site with the link provided by your carrier. Here is links to a few of the ones we have on hand:
Once you log into your BIS site all you have to do is simply click service books on the left side and then resend service books. Once the service books are resent you should see the Windows Live icon appear within a few minutes. If you still do not get the icon after this try contacting your service provider for help. Good luck!
