Will the BlackBerry 9000 feature video calling?

April 15, 2008 | By | 8 Comments

According to the latest rumor posted, the upcoming BlackBerry 9000 might feature a front-facing camera for video calling. Because the 9000 features a 3G radio it would make perfect sense for it to have this. This new BlackBerry also features Wi-Fi and GPS. Guess we won't know for a few more weeks (if it launches at WES).

Personally we don't think this camera will be in the final version of the 9000, but maybe a variant of the 9000. Anyways stay tuned for more details.

Any idea what networks (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile…) might be carrying the 9000 when it debuts?

Most likely we will see it launch on AT&T (in the United States) and Rogers (in Canada) at launch. But who knows…

I´m very disappointed that the blackberry doesn´t feature video calling. I also don´t understand, especially video calling gets more and more important these days.
Anyway, my company cancelled an order of 100 mobiles because my company needs this feature.. Thank you Blackberry.
