Apparently Sprint-Nextel’s CEO Dan Hesse announced at CTIA 2008 that Nextel will gain a Wi-Fi iDen BlackBerry. This new BlackBerry will replace Nextel’s old school BlackBerry 7100i. Unfortunately thats all we know but hopefully RIM pulls something tough out. [Source]

Opera has just announced the release of their Opera Mini 4.1 beta for BlackBerry. It’s sporting some new features such as text searching, predictive text for addresses commonly used, downloading and uploading files and save it for later (offline viewing). Weird why does Telus’ website show a picture of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 with Windows Live Hotmail on the screen? Isn’t Windows Live a Bell exclusive? and I don’t believe you can setup your Hotmail for free (working 100% that is)… That’s just odd. Maybe Telus has something up their sleeves?

Today at CTIA 2008: Hands-On Mobile and Activision announced the release of Guitar Hero Mobile for BlackBerry. Apparently the game will be available with all the four national carriers in the United States very soon. The game starts off with 15 songs and is a one time purchase.
