1. Go to BROWSER
2. click on the applications button
3. Scroll down..look for OPTIONS
2. Click on Browser Configuration
3. Scroll down..look for Emulation Mode: if it says Blackberry..not gonna work!
4. Change it to Microsoft IE
5. Your HTML account should work! :)

Had a Perl - wasn't able to receive emails on my BB - I upgraded to the Curve and was told that I would be able to get the emails from MSN now. I went through Verizon and they activated the email - all was good on their end but still not able to get MSN mail pushed through. Is there any network settings within MSN that could fix this IE: copy on server and if so... how does this girl do that?

I have Rogers in Canada and a Curve 8900. I guess the longstanding obstacles with Hotmail have been resolved because I was able to set up my Hotmail account through the usual BIS interface and mail gets pushed there instantly, just like with my Yahoo, GMail, and MobileMe accounts. The only account I have without instant push is on a university IMAP server, and even then I only have to wait a couple of minute.

Wasn't there an upgrade to the BIS a few months back that was intended to resolve all these issues?

This worked for me on my Curve 8330. After trying to simply log-in with my username and password and having no luck, I tried this and it worked like a charm! Thank you. :) (No extra steps for me really, I already had Windows Live Mail on my desktop, just had to change the settings).

Is this all necessary? I just added my Hotmail account along with my Gmail account the regular way, using the internet email setup thing from the BB menu and I just put in the username and password and it automatically added and works fine.
