I’ve got the Defender for my Curve 8310. I’m often on the beach a lot and wet sand is a killer of just about every thing that’s of any value to me, but I’m able to use my phone to it’s full in this hostile environment thanks to the case.

I also prefer the feel of the phone in the case, it’s closer in size to the 7290.

The thermo formed screen cover allows for easy typing but I find it’s hard (ipmossible) to get the bubbles out and this does detract from the appearabce of the screen when viewing photos and films.

The rubber surround is also a little loose on mine.

These are just small issues though and the protection the Defender gives is excellent. It transforms your phone from an office bound softy into a rugget GPS enabled wirelss device for the field!

I have been looking for a great protection for my BB 8830. I am an ag salesman and my phone is my everything! It takes a lot of punishment and I think this OtterBox would be the best protection for my phone. Thanks for the review!
