Vodafone BlackBerry 8xxx slide

Remember what we reported earlier as a BlackBerry 9000 series device? Well it turns out its not. It's a upcoming version of the 8000 series to be modeled 8920. This bad boy should be seen on Vodafone in the UK, followed by AT&T in the United States and maybe even sneak its way across the border over to Rogers in Canada. This upcoming new berry will come feature packed including:

  • 624MHz processor (Tavor chipset)
  • HSDPA with tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100)
  • 480 x 320 display
  • 1500mAh battery
  • 2.0 megapixel camera
  • GPS
  • Wi-Fi

Yes read that again it's Wi-Fi and GPS in one BlackBerry device! This device would be awesome for the new Slingbox application which is coming soon. Stay tuned for more details on this device as they become available.
