Thats right folks! BlackBerry Media Sync is now available for download. This means anyone with a BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, 8800 or Bold can sync their iTunes library with their BlackBerry via iTunes software. Unfortunately for now the software is only available for Windows and not OS X. You can sync your library with DRM-free songs, however songs purchase with DRM won’t be transferable.

RIM getting ready for Remote Stereo Gateway

Bluetooth stereo gatewayLooks like RIM is getting ready for a Remote Stereo Gateway for music lovers. The Financial Post discovered this little Bluetooth powered device in recent FCC filings. This little device will allow you to connect this gateway to a music sound system via Bluetooth and control the music from your BlackBerry.
We have also been hearing rumors of a little pocket-sized GPS dongle for your device to allow Curve 8320 users to have GPS via Bluetooth. We heard it was because RIM was having troubles putting Wi-Fi and GPS together. But that’s just a minor rumor, nothing solid.

Buy one BlackBerry get four free from Bell

Bell found a way to clear out its out BlackBerry stock. They are offering buy one BlackBerry 8830 World Edition or Pearl 8130 and you can get up to four free BlackBerry 8703’s. This deal is great for almost any business we wants to get connected by the power of BlackBerry’s.

Bell also launched new data sharing packages allowing the 5 users to share certain amounts of data. For example: $25/4MB, $40/8MB, $60/30MB or $100/1GB (1024MB) then you can add any users over your 5 for just $20/month. Kind of a neat idea for small businesses.  You can find the details over on Bell.

Over 21% of Holiday shoppers returned their non-BlackBerry or iPhone devices from the Holiday season. Meaning a lot of people we purchased Windows powered or Palm OS devices weren’t happy with them and returned them. This study was done by Opinion Research Corp. Kind of a good sign for RIM!
