Christmas has come early to you. Looks like Boy Genius has the scoop on RIM's upcoming new BlackBerry 9000 series, which will compete with Apple's popular iPhone. The BlackBerry 9000 series has some pretty sick features including:

• Intel XScale 620MHz ARM 1173 processor (faster than the iPhone)
• Display 320×480 or 480×320 when rotated
  
• Both Wi-Fi and GPS
• HSDPA wtih Quadband GSM
• 1GB of on board memory
• 2.0 megapixel camera (maybe even a 3.2MP one coming)

Above is what is believed to be a mock up of the 9000 series and what it might look like. It still isn't known if it will feature a on screen touch keyboard like the iPhone or a sliding QWERTY keyboard. More rumors to come soon. We should see this puppy sometime in the new year.
