RIM has been making some great leaps and bounds in the technology they are using now-a-days, unfortunatly i dont think they are ready for the iPhone battle, they have solidified their domain in the email world and have created a nice niche into the prosumer world but going full force against the iphone would be futile, mind you im no fan of the iPhone and RIM should be able to compete, somewhat. the only problem is the data packages, In the U.S. sure you can get unlimited data usage for an okay price but the price in canada is rediculous. where as you can get an average 4-8MB for around $40! ouch! for RIM to make a true killing here in canada they would need to urge the carriers in canada to come in line with the rest of the worlds data pricing!!!!
