Thats right folks! BlackBerry Media Sync is now available for download. This means anyone with a BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, 8800 or Bold can sync their iTunes library with their BlackBerry via iTunes software. Unfortunately for now the software is only available for Windows and not OS X. You can sync your library with DRM-free songs, however songs purchase with DRM won’t be transferable.

BlackBerry Pearl coming soon to Telus…

We have confirmed that Telus will begin launching the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 soon. Telus' Pearl will come in a silver metallic finish and will sport the 2.0 megapixel camera, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and of course the upgraded OS.

Sprint to unleash new BlackBerry data plans

With the upcoming release of the BlackBerry Pearl 8130 on Sprint. Sprint will be launching new data plans ranging in price from $30-70 dollars. One of the best plans is their BlackBerry Power Vision which features Unlimited BIS email, web browsing, instant mesaging, unlimited text messaging, Sprint TV and Sprint Navigation for only $30/month. Rogers and the BlackBerry Pearl 2 (aka 8120)

BlackBerry Pearl 8120Rumors are flying about Rogers and the BlackBerry Pearl 2 coming soon. We have confirmed with several sources that Rogers will in fact be getting the BlackBerry 8120, the Wi-Fi enabled version. While pricing or exact launch dates aren't known as of yet if everything goes as planned you can't expect to have one under your tree just in time. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Facebook application now available for BlackBerry

Research In Motion (RIM) has just announced new application for Facebook users. The application has been designed to make the Facebook experience for BlackBerry users much easier. It allows you to wirelessly send and view messages, photos, pokes and Wall posts similar to Facebook Mobile. To download simply point your BlackBerry's browser to http://facebook.com.

  • Receive notifications and messages automatically – Leveraging the BlackBerry platform's push-based architecture, notifications and messages are automatically sent to the user; the user can also set a unique alert (vibration and/or ringtone) for Facebook related content
  • Quickly access essential features – Convenient onscreen icons let users quickly change their Status, upload a photo, add a friend, poke someone, write on a Wall, or send a message. Users can also quickly scroll through messages and notifications as they do with email messages
  • Invite friends to join Facebook and accept new friend requests • Quickly snap and post pictures along with a caption and tags – The photo upload feature is also integrated with the BlackBerry smartphone camera and photo management applications on the smartphone
  • View the Status of friends
  • Read, compose and reply to messages even while offline – If the user is out of wireless coverage, messages are queued until the user returns to an area of coverage

According to RIM Co-CEO Jim Balsillie, Canada has the most BlackBerry users from any country around the world. We think Canadians are proud to sport some of the best wireless technology available. You can find the whole article from CWTA by pressing read more below.
