New Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry (8820?) approved by FCC
A new Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry device, possibly the BlackBerry 8820 has been approved by the FCC. This new BlackBerry device we believe is the 8820 features Quadband GSM along with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g. This new berry also includes Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot making it very similar to the rest of the 8800 series. No word on a camera at this time. We might even see multiple versions of this device such as GSM, CDMA + GSM (World Edition) models. If you want details you can check out the FCC site.

[...] L’FCC (Federal Communication Commission) l’organo USA preposto all’approvazione dei nuovi dispositivi mobili, ha approvato un nuovo dispositivo blackberry dotato finalmente di WiFI. Probabilmente si tratta del BB 8820 (ma in rete c’è chi dice possa essere 8320). Le caratteristiche di questo nuovo berry includono comunque Bluetooth, slot microSD ed una copertura “World Edition”, ovvero CDMA+GSM (il che lascerebbe pensare ad un BB della seria 8800).
