Thats right folks! BlackBerry Media Sync is now available for download. This means anyone with a BlackBerry Pearl, Curve, 8800 or Bold can sync their iTunes library with their BlackBerry via iTunes software. Unfortunately for now the software is only available for Windows and not OS X. You can sync your library with DRM-free songs, however songs purchase with DRM won’t be transferable.

RIM and AT&T launch BlackBerry Curve officially early

RIM has just announced that AT&T will be launching the BlackBerry Curve ahead of time. Starting tomorrow you will be able to order the BlackBerry Curve for $199 after a $100 rebate with two year contract (with voice & data plan). BlackBerry Curve on AT&T by tomorrow? hmm…

Boy Genius is still sticking to his word that AT&T will be launching the BlackBerry Curve before month’s end. This would mean that we will see the release of the Curve exclusively on AT&T for 90 days in the United States. The Curve will only cost you $199 with $100 rebate on two year contract. Read over to see the “leaked” press release. If this is true we wonder how much longer till Rogers get their Curve in Canada?

The team over at Engadget was lucky enough to get their hands on a BlackBerry 8820 Wi-Fi Edition. Basically its pretty much the same thing as the 8800 only adds Wi-Fi 802.11. To answer all of your questions yes… Yes we will see the 8820 on AT&T soon. The device comes loaded with AT&T branding all over it. While no further information is available on a solid release date we imagine it’ll be coming really soon.

Tip: Get the latest BlackBerry Pearl firmware

Do you have a BlackBerry Pearl containing software 4.2.0.54/4.2.0.64 or older? If so your Pearl may have a few minor problems that are fixable with a simple software upgrade from RIM. The new software version fixes the following issues:

  • Memory leak issue
  • Disappearing emails
  • Call logs that are being erased
  • Delay in answering phone call
  • Slow media access time
  • Slow reset time
